Line Up - Jason Cooper
Jason has played percussion since he was 12 years old and gigged with his first band when he was still at school (aged 17).
He was born in London in 1964 and has lived in Arundel, Worthing and Exeter (where he claims it wasn't him that brought down an entire campus computer network because he wondered what typing 'reset' would do).
He lives in Girton, Cambridge and is married to Marie Guillou, whose research work is in the engineering properties of ceramics. Marie originates from Brittany, France, and they enjoy frequent visits there.
They share a home with his collection of computers (which could be politely described as being of historical interest). One room of the house is devoted to his home studio which is somewhat less antiquated.
Jason likes a huge range of music and has spent may hours programming drum machines, samplers and synths. 2-Sheds Jackson found him slaving over a terminal one day, listened to his solo compositions and offered him a slot on their back line playing drums.
Since then he's remained.. well .. programmable.
