Andy was born in Hampshire in 1974 and started playing the piano when he was aged 8. As well as being an excellent keyboard player, he also plays guitar and bass (he has even gigged as a bass player in the past).

He studied at Bath University before undertaking a Ph.D. at Cambridge University where he met up with Kenny deep in the bowels of the "Skin Lab". A common interest in rock music (He is president of the Cambridge University Rock Society) and drinking (when not working, rehearsing or gigging, Andy can often be found at one side or the other of various bars around Cambridge) meant that he was guaranteed to be included when 2-Sheds Jackson were formed.

Aside from music and beer, another great love of Andy's is motorcycles. At first sight this may not seem to be the obvious means of transport for a gigging keyboard player, but there is a certain warped logic to it...

"Gig/Rehearsal tonight lads."
"Any chance of a lift as I can't really get the keyboard on the bike?"
"Oh go on then."

...  Later that same night ...

"Glug, Glug, Glug... So you dropping me off on the way home then? Hic!"

Andy has his own website which you can find here.
